GYNECOLOGIC CARE

Specializing in Reproductive Health Care

In addition to abortion care, we provide a range of other gynecologic care, and specialize in difficult cases

Complicated Referrals

We see patients who have been referred by their regular health care provider or need specialized gynecologic care.

Endometrial Sampling

A sample of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) is sometimes taken to screen for cancer, help diagnose the cause of irregular bleeding, or assess whether the lining can support a pregnancy.

Non-Routine IUD Insertion and Removal

We specialize in non-routine and complicated IUD insertions and removals. An IUD, or intrauterine device, is a small, T-shaped device that is inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. IUDs can be used between 3-12 years depending upon the type and are one of the most effective forms of reversible birth control.

Comfort Options for Exams

Fear, anxiety, a history of trauma, or some mental and physical conditions can make routine gynecologic exams difficult for some patients. We have clinicians who are able to provide you with a variety of levels of sedation to meet your comfort needs and improve your experience with gynecologic exams.

Sedation is available for:

  • IUD insertions and/or removals
  • Endometrial sampling
  • Individuals with a history of difficult gynecologic exams

After Your Procedure

With some pain-relief medications, you will not be able to drive and will need to have someone pick you up. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
